Cranmore v Kilve
On winning the toss Cranmore asked Kilve to bat and quickly had Kilve in trouble with Steve Allen (5-7) bowling with great vigor and taking the 1st four wicket with only 23 on the board and helped with Harry Keevil (0-30) these 2 tied up the Kilve batsman and after 12 overs the score had reached 32 for 4, Maff Godden then replaced Keevil and quickly got into the act taking a wicket and with Allen gaining his 5th Kilve where now 34 for 6 a mini partnership occurred before Godden gained another with Nick Pang (1-7) replacing the excellent Allen, wickets kept on falling and at 59 for 9 the innings was almost over but a 10th wicket partnership of 29 pushed the score up to 88 before Dave Monk (1-8) took the last wicket in the 41st over
In reply Cranmore lost their 1st wicket with the score on 17 but Monk (16) and Pang (31) put on 16 runs in 5 overs before Monk was dismissed and after 10 overs the score had reached 33, Sam Laing (19 no) joined Pang and with accurate shots and quick singles they kept the run rate up and quickly pushed Cranmore to victory until with 10 needed Pang was stumped and it was left to Ian Cox (4 no) and Laing to finish the game and give Cranmore a victory by 7 wickets.
