Cranmore won by 5 wickets

On winning the toss Cranmore asked East Huntspill to bat and after 4 overs a run had not been scored but the next 10 scoring shots were all boundaries but in between 2 wickets fell from a good catch from Steve Allen off a Richard Miles (1-56) ball and a run out by Nick Pang at the 38 for 2 after 10 overs the game was evenly balanced and with Miles and Allen (1-74) bowling well wickets looked like falling at any moment but East Huntspill had other ideas and a partnership of 146 runs in 30 overs changed the game but Dave Monk (1-42) and Pang (0-50) Brought Cranmore back into the game with their slow accurate bowling with 40 overs gone East Huntspill were 189 for 3 but gained 47 runs in the last 5 overs a couple of wickets did fall from Monk and a Neil Stevenson run out but East Huntspill hit 238 for 5

In reply Cranmore lost Monk with 10 on the board but Pang (122 no) and Dury (44) brought Cranmore innings to life with some quick running and accurate shots and moved the score onto 121 off 23 overs before Dury was dismissed Cox (4) joined Pang who was now finding the boundaries with regularity but on 136 Cox was dismissed and 30 runs later Allen (20) followed with score on 176 but Pang was still there and with the help of Andy Godden (14) put on 50 runs in 5 overs including a six from Godden which went through an opponents car window Pang then brought up his 100 with a glorious 4 and with 12 needed Godden was bowled and it was left to Phil Veale (2 no) and Pang to score the winning runs in the 44th over for a Cranmore victory by 5 wickets also thanks goto East Hunstspill for playing the game in such a sporting manner
