Campaign One - Fundraising

Our main campaign, as is the case with most cricket clubs is our year long fundraising campaigns. We fundraise in a variety of ways from sponsorship from local businesses. Through sponsored events to the annual dinner. To our all important 'friends' and sponsors.The next few months ahead we are planning many fund raising events such as bag packing at a local supermarket and a race night to help with raising funds.
As everyone who plays at Cranmore knows the changing rooms need a major overhaul.
We need to knock down the old changing rooms and build a new one,with several hurdles to pass such as finding someone to remove safely the old building that has a lot of asbestos in it this needs to be removed profesionally and safely.
Hopefully we can find a company who could remove this for free.

Campaign Two - Public Awareness

A lot of our public awarness comes from the local newspapers . We have found that the amount people interested in the club and the success of the club is always at the top of everyones agenda.
We have also found that locally many businesses have given us a lot more help financially over recent years.Many thanks to all those who have donated this year..

There is of course another important awarness campaign that we do which is to let the very people that we are here and know that we exist and how they can come and play cricket. This awareness campaign is highlighted in the section below Back to top

Campaign Three - Youth Cricket

The most important awarness campaign is intended to let the youth who need us most know that we are here to help them. We offer a fantastic opportunity for the local youth to excell in a sport that is both enjoyable and healthy.there are people available to helpwith training and advice. Back to top

Campaign Four - Recruiting

The club is always in need of more players. We are always looking for new players who want to play cricket for our club.Anyone can join this club no matter what their ability in playing cricket is we have 2 teams on saturday's and a sunday friendly team.

we are always on the look out to recruit people that are willing to become 'friends' of the club. Without this guaranteed source of people to carry on helping it would be very difficult to make medium or long term plans. Back to top
